Who we are

This website is run by Easingwold Community Hub, a community space at The Trading House, Market Place, Easingwold, York YO61 3AA. You can contact us by email at communityhub@easingwold.gov.uk.

What personal data we collect

This website does not collect or store personal information directly. When you click an email link, your own email programme opens and you choose what to send us. When you book an event, you leave this website and use Bookwhen, which has its own privacy policy and booking process.

How we use your data

If you email us, we will use the information you provide only to respond to your enquiry and manage your request. We do not use your details for marketing unless you explicitly agree to it.

Cookies

This website uses cookies and similar technologies only where essential for the site to work. Our event booking calendar is provided by Bookwhen. When you view the calendar or click through to book, Bookwhen may set its own cookies and analytics to keep the booking system working securely and to understand how visitors use it.

Third-party services

The website uses Google Fonts for typography and may link to Facebook and Bookwhen. These services may collect anonymous usage data in line with their own privacy policies. We do not receive that data from them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law and GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to ask for your data to be moved to another service. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been misused.
